To
give you a view of the cash-flow benefits
in the VDC model, we put together a simple
project case study. Three scenarios are
presented in this study that involves the
completion of a project that would normally
take 15 resources to complete. Key costs
included in the study include hiring costs
for all personnel, training and travel costs
as well as conservative resource burden
rates.

| Three models were inspected in the case
study: An all-US 15-person team, a Hybrid
16-person team with US, expatriate and remote
resources, and a 16-person ComLSI VDC model.
Figures 1 and 2 depict the self-evident, key
results of this case study. The database used
