Partnerships with Intel and Texas Instruments, 40+ patents, and two foundational books led to PI-FP, the industry's first continuum power integrity simulator. Today, PDNLab carries that expertise into the AI silicon era.

Incorporated in Arizona. Fabless custom chip company providing analog, mixed-signal, and digital IC design services.

2003 – 06

IP & Partnerships

Patent portfolio in power management architectures. Consulting partnership with Tanner Research. Silicon IP in 180nm CMOS.

2006 – 08

Power Integrity Research

Industry engagements with Intel and TI. Published Active Noise Regulation — a patented SiP technology for dynamic voltage droop mitigation.

2008 – 10

PI-FP & First Book

Industry’s first continuum power integrity simulator. Co-authored Power Integrity Analysis and Management for Integrated Circuits (Prentice-Hall).

2014

Second Book & RLCSIM

Co-authored Power Integrity for Nanoscale Integrated Systems (McGraw Hill). Released RLCSIM demonstration environment.

2016

PI-FP Studies

Published series in Planet Analog: continuum simulation of clock skew design, local resonances, and a critique of vectorless analysis.

2018

Elegy for Moore’s Law

Essay tracing Moore’s Law to the Jevons Paradox of 1865, examining consequences for power and energy in semiconductor systems.
