Executive Consultant, Physical Design Architect & GUI Developer. Malcolm combines over 38 years of experience in the area of VLSI Physical Design and Software/CAD development. He has undertaken multiple technical contributor and management roles with industry leaders such as Intel Corporation and Mentor Graphics, and has also worked at startup companies such as Corrent Semiconductor. Malcolm’s skills and experience span CAD tools from all leading industry vendors and extends to coding in Synopsys (R) Scheme and other equivalent scripting languages in such tools. Malcolm is also skilled in software coding for CAD and is the software architect and implementer for the graphical user interface of pi-fp, previously called PowerESL, an industry-first power integrity aware Floor Planner.
