Pi-fp allows the capture of multiple chips, their power supply grids, distributed dynamic loads (current sources), distributed capacitors as well as lumped external capacitors connecting into the power grid through transmission lines. Based upon industry standard empirical equations, the value of grid inductance may be calculated from physical grid construction as well.
